L’exposition Sexties présente 37 planches issues des deux récits érotiques les plus célèbres de Guido Crepax : Histoire d’O et Emmanuelle. Toutes sont accessibles à l’achat, avec une limite de 15 planches vendues. L’exposition est enrichie par une dizaine d’œuvres exclusives d’Hommages à Valentina réalisées par les plus grands dessinateurs actuels dont notamment Berthet, Frank, Hyman ou Loustal.
L’Italien Guido Crepax (1933-2003) crée Valentina, en 1965. Il s’affirme dès le départ comme le géant du dessin en noir et blanc, tandis que l’érotisme a trouvé son Grand-Maître. Avec Mc Cay, Eisner et Fred, Crepax compte parmi les plus grands novateurs en matière de découpage des cases du récit. Les audaces de ses histoires et la sensualité très cérébrale de ses dessins et de son univers, font de lui un maître de la bande dessinée érotique.

The Sexties exhibition presents 37 pages from the two most famous erotic stories : Histoire d’O and Emmanuelle. All are available for purchase, up to a ceiling of 15 sales. The show is completed by a dozen Tributes to Valentina made by contemporary artists like Berthet, Frank, Hyman or Loustal , which prove the ongoing influence of Crepax on comics creativitiy today.
The Italian Guido Crepax (1933-2003) created Valentina in 1965, and from the outset, he establishes himself as the giant of black-and-white drawing. Cerebral eroticism finds its Grand Master. With McCay, Eisner and Fred, Crepax is one of the greatest innovators in the history of the 9th art in the layouts of his pages and story. The panels fragment, stretch, link, fuse and repeat themselves. The high level of his drawing, his daring stories, his diverse culture, the cerebral and sensual aspect of his universe, all this continues to make him a master of modern comics.

De tentoonstelling Sexties brengt 37 platen uit de twee meest beroemde, erotische verhalen van Guido Crepax : Histoire d’O en Emmanuelle. Alle platen zijn te koop met een limiet van 15 verkochte. De tentoonstelling wordt vervolledigd met een tiental Hommages aan Valentina door hedendaagse tekenaars als Berthet, Frank, Hyman of Loustal, het bewijs van de blijvende invloed van Crepax op de stripkunst.
De Italiaan Guido Crepax (1933-2003) tekent in 1965 Valentina en toont zich van bij het begin de meester van de zwart-wit tekening. De verfijnde erotiek vindt er zijn grootmeester. Samen met Mc Cay, Eisner en Fred hoort Crepax bij de grote vernieuwers van de hele 9de kunst door de indeling van de platen en het verhaal. De prenten versplinteren, worden uitgerokken, vervagen, verstarren, herhalen zich. Het hoge niveau van zijn tekenwerk, de gewaagdheid van de verhalen, zijn veelzijdige cultuur, het vernuftige en sensuele aspect van zijn universum maken van hem nu nog steeds een meester van het moderne beeldverhaal.
